An artist can spend months writing, recording and refining a track, then deliver a single audio file. That file leaves much of the process out of view. When a label, client or buyer asks how the work was made, the answer can be scattered across sessions, credits and messages.
DigiBridge’s approach is to build the record alongside the work. Registered projects, recorded activity and contributor declarations give a human creation review a clear starting point.
Human contribution deserves a clear account.
The U.S. Copyright Office’s January 2025 report puts human expressive contribution at the centre of its copyrightability analysis. It explains that AI assistance does not automatically remove protection, while prompts alone do not supply the required human control in the examples it addresses.
A legal assessment and a human creation programme serve different purposes. For a creator, the practical task is to keep an accurate account of the people, material and assistance involved, then understand the rules of the submission being made.
Record the project before the questions arrive.
Create the project record early and connect the file you are working on. Record covered sessions with your available creative tool connection, and keep collaborators’ contributions attached to the shared project.
Before sharing, select the intended version and review its coverage, findings and declarations. This turns a broad claim about a song into a submission with a specific history that a recipient can assess.

- Review warnings and gaps while the work is still familiar.
- Connect the published evidence to the submitted version.
A record should help creators and reviewers.
Provenance means information about a work’s origin and history. C2PA’s guidance treats it as useful evidence while recognising that a missing credential does not, by itself, make content untrustworthy.
DigiBridge adds a defined human creation workflow: recorded process, detection of prohibited AI assistance and synthetic control, and publishing rules with a review route. Creators gain a consistent way to present their work; recipients gain a consistent way to examine the submission.
